Le gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec accorde un soutien financier de 15 M$CA \u00e0 Waga Energy Canada pour la construction d\u2019une unit\u00e9 de production de gaz naturel renouvelable (GNR) sur le lieu d\u2019enfouissement technique (LET) de la R\u00e9gie des mati\u00e8res r\u00e9siduelles du Lac-Saint-Jean (RMR) \u00e0 H\u00e9bertville-Station, au Saguenay\u2013Lac-Saint-Jean.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Un projet de GNR au service des objectifs climatiques du Qu\u00e9bec<\/h3>\n

Ce soutien\u00a0<\/span>constitue une \u00e9tape clef dans la r\u00e9alisation de ce projet sign\u00e9 en novembre 2024, qui <\/span>entre d\u00e9sormais dans sa phase de construction. Le financement est issu du Fonds d\u2019\u00e9lectrification et de changements climatiques, et s\u2019inscrit dans le Plan de mise en \u0153uvre 2025-2030 du Plan pour une \u00e9conomie verte 2030, visant \u00e0 int\u00e9grer 10 % de GNR dans le r\u00e9seau gazier qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois d\u2019ici 2030. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie WAGABOX\u00ae, l\u2019unit\u00e9 produira jusqu\u2019\u00e0 200 000 GJ\/an (environ 55GWh), soit l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de\u00a0la consommation de\u00a02 900 foyers qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, et\u00a0permettra d\u2019\u00e9viter 9 400 t de\u00a0eqCO\u2082\/an.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Un projet d\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire pour le Saguenay\u2013Lac-Saint-Jean<\/h3>\n

Exploit\u00e9e par la RMR, le LET d H\u00e9bertville-Station dessert 50 municipalit\u00e9s, et re\u00e7oit 203 500 t de d\u00e9chets\/an. Le biogaz est actuellement br\u00fbl\u00e9 par torch\u00e8re. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019unit\u00e9 WAGABOX(r), il sera d\u00e9sormais purifi\u00e9 et valoris\u00e9 en GNR, puis inject\u00e9 dans le r\u00e9seau d\u2019\u00c9nergir. Un projet structurant d\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire <\/span>au service de la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique du Saguenay\u2013Lac-Saint-Jean !<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Il s\u2019agit du quatri\u00e8me projet de GNR r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Waga Energy au Qu\u00e9bec. Trois unit\u00e9s WAGABOX(r) sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 en service \u00e0 Saint-\u00c9tienne-des-Gr\u00e8s, Cowansville et Chicoutimi. Une cinqui\u00e8me unit\u00e9 est en exploitation en Colombie-Britannique, sur l\u2019\u00eele de Vancouver.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
