Why Is It Important?
Climate change requires the rapid development of alternatives to fossil fuels. At the same time, waste storage sites continue to generate methane, a powerful greenhouse gas.
By upgrading this gas into RNG that can be injected into existing gas networks, we help reduce atmospheric emissions while producing locally sourced renewable energy.
How We Act
We develop, finance, build, and operate WAGABOX® units capable of converting landfill gas into RNG.
This approach relies on:
- Deploying our units in France and internationally;
- Establishing long-term partnerships with waste operators and local authorities;
- Continuously improving the environmental performance of our facilities;
- Driving technological innovation to maximize biogas recovery.
Key Results
Our activity helps replace fossil fuels with renewable energy and supports the decarbonization of local communities.
Key figures:
- 504,050 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent emissions avoided since 2015;
- 111,000 households supplied with biomethane.
